The Blind Spot Detection (BSD) system can monitor this area and take much of the strain off the
driver, and avoid hazardous situations. Sensors monitor the road area behind and next to your
own vehicle and warn if you try to lane switch despite there being no gap.

 

How Does Lintech Car Blind Spot Detection System Work?

This system kit include a 77Ghz millimeter wave radar, two indicator lights, a buzzer, and connecting harness. All these components work collectively for the proper functioning of the system.

Operation Principle:

The system performs two main functions. One is detecting the target object, the other is warningdriver. The millimeter wave radar accurately detects the objects, then warning lights and buzzer collectively warn the driver about the risk at the same time.

77Ghz millimeter wave radar Continuously send & receive the wave signals,it is up to the car BSD system to judge whether the object is a threat to the car or not. For practical judgment, it accurately measures the target car’s speed, angle, and relative displacement.

Once the system marks the target as a potential risk, it will issue the first or second-level alarm to warn the driver.

1st level alarm: The warning light will stay on without buzzer involvement;2nd level alarm: The warning light flashes, and the buzzer sounds.
77GHz millimeter wave radar can detect 64 objects simultaneously within a 50-meter range. It is the most efficient and accurate car blind spot detection system.

System Self Inspection

After powering on the vehicle, the left and right indicator lights flash 2 times, buzzer “Bi..bi..” 2 times.If not lights flash and Bi bi alarm sound, Radar system not work.

Warning strategy: Time To Collision (TTC) ≤ 3s.

This system helps the driver in active lane changing.
It warns the driver early about the object in the adjacent lane. In LCA parallel auxiliary feature, thesystem adopts an early warning strategy. So, it alerts the driver when the approach time of the vehicle is ≤ 3.0 seconds.
